A University of Benin (UNIBEN) lecturer, Professor Godspowe Osaretin Ikuobase, and a 2023 presidential hopeful has condemned the present politicking in Nigeria, which he noted had been commercialised.
Ikuobase, who said he aimed to become the next president under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC) lamented that those with integrity and the necessary intelligence were few in the nation’s politics.
The Professor of Service Computing, who made the assertion while fielding questions from journalists in Benin City, urged people with integrity, intelligence, energy and proper planning to come into politics so as to enable the nation to get it right politically.
