PORTLAND, Ore. The daughter of a Portland man who hasn t been seen since Sunday says her father may have been the driver of a vehicle that went off the Interstate 205 bridge into the Columbia River on Sunday night.
Abi Amaro says her father, Antonio Amaro Lopez, went to work in Hazel Dell, Wash., on Valentine s Day morning. She says the family didn t want him to work because they knew his drive home might be dangerous in icy weather. We had tried to encourage him not to go to work, to call out, said Amaro. But, like I said, he s just hard-working.

The family of Antonio Amaro Lopez said they would hold a candlelight vigil for him at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, at 4325 NE Marine Drive in Portland. The vigil is open to the public.
Antonio Amaro Lopez started driving home from his job at his family’s Hazel Dell restaurant about 5 p.m. Sunday.
