Community members in a west Norfolk town are hoping to raise funds to revamp old and tired children s play equipment.
Frances Rayner along with others in Downham Market aim to set up a project team to get new play and exercise equipment on The Howdale.
The organiser of Downham Games said she was approached by Anna Foster of the Swan Youth Project and borough councillor Andy Bullen after people in the community contacted them about the condition of the play area, saying it was old and in need of a change.

Representatives of 23 charities descended on Norwich Cathedral for the launch of a 375 mile fundraising walking challenge.
The first day of Walking4Norfolk took place on Wednesday with the High Sherriff of Norfolk Michael Gurney reading a poem to kickstart the proceedings.
Hymns were also sung ahead of the teams walking the equivalent distance from Norwich to Notre-Dame in Paris within their local area.

Norfolk s outgoing chief constable has signed up to a fundraising walking challenge which will see participants cover the distance from Norwich to Paris.
Simon Bailey has signed up to the Walking4Norfolk challenge which will be launched at Norwich Cathedral on Wednesday with representatives from each of the 20 charities taking part.
Mr Bailey will be joining the team from Norfolk Constabulary, which includes deputy chief constable Paul Sanford and assistant chief constable Julie Wvendth, to raise funds for Nelson s Journey.

Norfolk charities which have signed up to a fundraising walk challenge are taking action in response to the damage caused by the pandemic.
The Walking4Norfolk challenge, which is supported by the Norfolk Community Foundation, launches on May 12 at Norwich Cathedral with teams of five virtually walking the 375 miles from Norwich to Notre-Dame in Paris within their local area.
Around 15 teams have already signed up, supporting 10 charities and the Walking4Norfolk Fund for Unpaid Carers, which will receive a voluntary percentage of funds raised or optional entry fees.
