Updated: 1:53 PM EDT May 24, 2021 A recreational water advisory is in effect for parts of Anne Arundel County.Community members should avoid the water on Stoney Creek, specifically in Elizabeth s Landing, Lombardee Beach and Sunset Beach.This means no swimming, kayaking or anything else that would bring you in direct contact with the water.The advisory comes after an overnight main break in Glen Burnie that caused a 6,500-gallon wastewater spill.The Anne Arundel County Department of Health is collecting water samples and will lift the advisory when test results show safer bacterial levels.
