A man was shot Monday during an attempted robbery at Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn.
At about 5:50 p.m., an unknown person attempted to rob the man while he was exiting the mall at 18900 Michigan Avenue, according to a press release from the Dearborn Police Department.
The man was shot and taken to a hospital, police said. He is listed in temporary serious condition.
The incident is under investigation, but Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad vowed to serve justice, according to the release.
