A historic barn that housed a fruit stand in Half Moon Bay was destroyed in a fire Friday night, officials said.
Roughly 35 firefighters battled the blaze, which had fully engulfed the Andreotti Family Farms’ Historical Barn Produce Stand at 329 Kelly Avenue, said Battalion Chief David Hibdon of Coastside Fire Protection District, a Cal Fire agency.
The stand was part of the nearly 100-year-old family farm that operates a popular pumpkin patch in the fall, grows sunflowers and produce and offers classes to the community.
