Google s annual developer conference is back after being cancelled last year. As always, the software giant is expected to launch a couple of hardware products during the same. The upcoming Pixel 5a would likely be the star of the show, subject to its launch.
Google has already confirmed that the smartphone is coming to the US and Japan. In addition to that, it was hinted that the mid-range smartphone would arrive during the same time as the Pixel 4a last year. However, several other leakers believe that the Pixel 5a will be unveiled at Google IO 2021.

Google dropped the
Android 12 Developer Preview 3 on us this morning to help developers further test the newest version of Android before it goes to beta. This is likely the last big preview build before beta too, so testing is going to be important at this stage.
In this new Developer Preview 3, Google still isn’t ready to talk about any new features that you’ll get to play with and is instead still talking about the technical moves developers need to make to their apps. The big highlights here (so far) are customized haptic feedback in apps, “frictionless linking” to apps, and a new app launch animation.

Android updates in mobile have been improving in the past years. While not directly stating that its system is nearly resembling what desktop operating systems can do, the obvious comparison could be seen from its difference to iOS or iPad OS platform.
This time, Google seems to be bringing a Recycle Bin or Trash Bin feature to Android users. Even though desktop features have several options for the platform, the involvement of third-party apps is required to enable them.
The new leaked feature will also feature an auto-app translating tool so if the developers did not create one for them, there will be no problem when it comes to the users end.

Android 12 Developer Preview 2!
Since this is a “developer preview” and not a beta, this is again targeted at developers who need to get their apps ready for new experiences or changes to the platform before we get to a stable release this summer. There still isn’t an Android Beta available, so to get on DP2, you’ll need to own a supported Pixel phone and then be prepared to flash a factory image or OTA file.
