A Virginia elementary school included on its website a link to the controversial Abolitionist Teaching Network, which the Biden administration recently backed away from and said it included in its post-coronavirus school reopening guidance in error.
A selection of links on the Fairfax County Public Schools website titled Local & National Organizations includes eight links FCPS Pride, Second Story, NAKASEC, Showing Up for Racial Justice, Abolitionist Teaching Network (ATN), Black Lives Matter, Mijente and 18 Million Rising.
The groups range from racial justice organizations to a charity for teenagers in crisis – but the ATN has gone as far as to claim Whiteness is a form of oppression.

The Biden administration called it an “error” to promote a guide by a group espousing critical race theory in an Education Department handbook meant for use in over 13,000 public school districts on recommendations and policies for school reopenings, Fox News reported.
The activist group, Abolitionist Teaching Network, has connections to at least two high-ranking officials in the Biden administration’s Education Department, Fox reported. It is unclear why Abolitionist Teaching Network was mentioned in the April handbook and who added the hyperlink.
