Bhimili–Bhogapuram road to be developed at a cost of ₹1,021 crore
The beach corridor from Visakhapatnam to Bhogapuram will turn into a tourist paradise, if the plans of the government are any indication. A sky tower atop Kailasagiri, floating restaurant and construction of a greenfield road are some of the proposals, which have been approved in principle by the government.

KAKINADA: As many as 22 prisoners lodged at the Central Jail in Rajamahendravaram of East Godavari district have tested Covid-19 positive.
Jail superintendent S. S. Rajarao said a prisoner had been brought to the jail on remand four days ago. He was tested for Coronavirus when he started suffering from fever and was found positive. Subsequently, tests were carried out on other prisoners who had come in contact with the remand prisoner. 21 of them tested positive.

The pilgrim centre had accommodated 14,389 patients since pandemic broke out
Sri Padmavathi Nilayam, which was turned into a COVID Care Centre to house patients when cases were surging and many hospitals were getting overwhelmed, has withdrawn from offering the services, announced Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) officially on Friday.
The massive building complex abutting the Chennai highway, built by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to accommodate pilgrims, was later handed over to A.P. Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) for better management, but was finally taken over by TUDA when COVID struck.
