The governors of three states, including Connecticut’s Ned Lamont, as well as an advocacy group, plan to call out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., on Monday morning, according to a release.
A press conference organized by Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room will hold a virtual press event with New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and Lamont, the release said.
The organizer said the event aims to highlight the need for immediate passage of state and local aid in a bipartisan Congressional COVID relief package.
