While working from home and online education have become the new normal in view of the
COVID-19 outbreak, it seems that doctors have observed a downside of the new trend.
Medical practitioners from the city have reported a spurt in the number of patients showing up with complaints of ear infections allegedly caused due to excessive use of earphones. Doctors claimed they have seen a twofold rise in the number of patients with pain, irritation and infection in ears.
