Four injured when boat overturns in Barnegat Bay

TOMS RIVER – Four people were injured late Saturday when a boat overturned around 11 p.m. near Tilton Point in Barnegat Bay, according to State Police.
Boat operator Dennis Trotman Jr., 46, of Pompano Beach, Florida, suffered moderate injuries when the vessel overturned, according to State Police.
Passenger Elizangel Araujo, 35, of Long Branch, suffered serious injuries, authorities said.
Kevin J. Nice, 51, of the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey, and Thomas M. Trout, 47, of Brick, each had minor injuries, according to State Police.
The incident remains under investigation.
