LONDON: A married teacher who groomed and had sex with a 15-year-old boy has been sentenced to more than six years in prison.
Kandice Barber was found guilty of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity in January following a retrial and was sentenced for her “beyond despicable” crimes on Friday.
During the trial, Amersham Law Courts heard the 35-year-old had told the boy she would “bring him down with her” if the relationship was discovered. She had sent topless pictures of herself to the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, while she was working as a school cover supervisor, as well as a “live video” of her masturbating.
Barber sent topless photos and a video of herself performing a lewd act to the pupil, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
The paedophile had sex with him in a field and told him she was pregnant but was unsure if he or her husband was the father.
Judge Dhaliwal told Barber, of Wendover, Bucks: “This was yet another attempt to manipulate him.”
