It is a step interpreted as an attempt to win the support of the pro-Israel lobby in America following the Biden administration s adoption of an ambiguous position over Western Sahara. Pro-government Le 360 news website reported that AIPAC has confirmed Morocco s first formal participation in the influential pro-Israel lobby group s activities. Bourita, it said, will be interviewed online as part of the Mid Atlantic Spring Programme next week.

The New York-based advocacy group on Tuesday released the 213-page report, titled “A Threshold Crossed: Israeli Authorities and the Crimes of Apartheid and Persecution,” which specifically calls out Israel for what it claims is a policy of Jewish Israeli “domination” over Palestinians.
