Updated: 7:25 PM CDT Jul 21, 2021 Nebraska is competing to win a spot in the 2022 America s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers Calendar for the third year in a row. Voting is now open for the eighth year of the annual competition hosted by the American Association of State Troopers. Thirteen winning states will be featured on the calendar. Returning from a fifth-place win in 2020, Nebraska submitted a photo of a state trooper vehicle set against a background of a night sky full of stars above a vast field and dirt road. The winning state will be presented with the “Best Looking Cruiser” award and featured on the cover of the calendar. Calendars can be purchased on the AAST website with a minimum donation of $5. All proceeds go toward the AAST to provide benefits and services to member troopers across the country. The AAST Facebook page will be posting daily rankings of the competition.
