(Sean Rayford/TNS) If and when the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, abortion will be illegal in Texas. On Tuesday, GOP Gov. Greg Abbott signed a bill banning the procedure as soon the court allows, joining 10 other states with such trigger laws already on the books.
“The most precious freedom of all is life itself,” Abbott said. “Texas will always foster a culture of life.”
