Associate dean of Texas A&M at Qatar elected fellow of AIChE  04 Aug 2021 - 7:22 The Peninsula Doha: Dr. Ioannis G. Economou, associate dean for academic affairs and professor of chemical engineering at Texas A&M University at Qatar, has been elected a fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). Fellow is AIChE’s highest grade of membership and is achieved only through election by the AIChE Board of Directors. According to the AIChE, this honour reaffirms the high esteem with which colleagues and peers view his distinctive professional achievements and accomplishments.  Economou said on his appointment, “This is a great honour for me and recognises almost 30 years of scholarship work in academia, national labs and industry.
