“Jewish American Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate our vibrant and cherished Jewish American community. Generations of Jewish Americans have made immeasurable contributions to our nation that have shaped the American story, and the community’s strength and success today serve as a powerful testament to the American Dream.
“Jewish immigrants fleeing violence, oppression and persecution all over the world have long sought safe haven on our shores, finding in America a bastion of hope, liberty and justice. For centuries, Jewish Americans have embraced these bedrock ideals and helped bring our democracy closer to a more perfect union. Tragically, they have too often encountered shadows of the same dark forces of hatred and bigotry here in America as well – in the streets of Charlottesville, in sacred

Not even a pandemic can keep the Irish from having a party on St. Patrick s Day.
Both last year and this year, the St. Patrick s Day Parade and all other events associated with it were canceled due to COVID-19, so the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center had to think outside the box and come up with new ways to celebrate their biggest day of the year.
This year, due to some COVID restrictions being lifted, they will be able to hold a smaller scale safe St. Patrick s Day. According to newstimes.com, here s what they have planned.
The American Heritage Month celebration will be happening all through the month of March, but it will be held on line through Facebook live, and in person with a limited number of people.
On Wednesday, 3 March, the International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, confirmed the âinitiation of an investigation respecting the Situation in Palestineâ. This will only âcover crimes within the jurisdiction of the Courtâ over a very short period of time, since 13 June 2014. Bensouda note that âthe decision to open an investigation followed a painstaking preliminary examination undertaken by my Office that lasted close to five years.â There is certainly nothing hasty or ill-considered about this ICC decision. It should be remembered that, in 2017, it was Fatou Bensouda who declined to commence an investigation into allegations made about the conduct of the Israeli Defence Forces in the case of the
