Travelers who purchased American Airlines Flagship tickets were treated to specially curated bottles of wine during their international or transcontinental flights. Now, thanks to a new program launched by the airline, customers can have those wines delivered right to their doorstep.
The American Airlines Flagship Cellars program allows anybody to order a single bottle of wine, or for $99 per month, they can sign up for a monthly subscription, which includes three bottles of wine. American Airlines AAdvantage members will earn two miles for every dollar they spend.
The wines come from all over the world and are hand-selected by experts. Their choices are whittled down by an award-winning master sommelier who chooses their favorites in a blind taste test. American Airlines employees then take the recommendations and decide which wines will make the cut for the Flagship Cellars program.
