ADVERTISEMENT Honda Aircraft Co. Sues 2 Banks Over Plane Lease Default
Law360 (March 12, 2021, 8:31 PM EST) Plane manufacturer Honda Aircraft Co. LLC has sued the Bank of Utah and the Apple Bank for Savings, accusing the two of failing to honor the terms of a complex financial agreement intended to help a foundering air charter broker that purchased several Honda airplanes.
In the suit, which was filed Thursday, Honda Aircraft and its parent company, American Honda Motor Co. Inc., the Japanese carmaker s U.S. subsidiary, claimed that it had become a party to the financial arrangement with the two banks after Wing Spirit Inc., a Hawaii-based company that helps individuals charter planes, sought to buy a total of.

MARYSVILLE – Honda’s four mass production auto plants, two transmission plants and two engine plants in the U.S. have all earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ENERGY STAR Certificate for Outstanding Energy Efficiency, demonstrating the company’s longstanding commitment to reducing CO2 emissions through environmentally-friendly practices. Honda is the only automaker to earn the EPA distinction for energy efficiency at every mass production auto plant it operates in the U.S.

As we cover land transport, we didn’t realise that the HondaJet – with 31 units delivered globally last year – is the most delivered aircraft in its class for the fourth consecutive year, based on General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) data.

Honda Performance Development offers Civic Type R K20C1 crate engine in US market for racing use

You can now buy a Honda Civic Type R engine in the US, à la carte. Honda Performance Development (HPD), the motorsports arm of American Honda Motor Co, has announced the release of its limited edition HPD-developed Controls Package and the K20C1 Crate Engine for use in racing and off-highway applications.
The 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine has for years been a staple of HPD’s lineup of racing machines, powering the firm’s Type R TC and Type R TCR race cars as well as the successful F4 US Championship and FR Americas Championship series. Previously, HPD’s K20C1 engine was reserved for Honda Racing Line members and race teams.
