Welcome to the Miserable Soviet Vaccine Mandate Hell

Show Us Your Vaccine Papers Now Happy Monday of Christmas Week, my dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. The next ten days might be cheat days. Well, the COVID-19 vaccine that is supposed to save the world is rolling out now and it’s not bringing about the sense of progress that many thought it would. There have been a variety of relief horizons during this pandemic that never managed to do what they were supposed to. Remember “fifteen days to flatten the curve” last winter? Longest fifteen days ever. The vaccine may very well do its job and slow the infection rate of the Deliberate Chinese Bat Flu but we’re going to have to wait and see how things work out for the people willing to jump in and participate in this human guinea pig round. The couple of health care industry professionals I’ve talked to have no interest whatsoever in getting the needle for this thing. I’m no anti-vaxxer, but that’s enough to make me question some things.

Can employers require workers to take the coronavirus vaccine?

Can employers require workers to take the coronavirus vaccine? Updated Dec 21, 2020; Throughout the coronaviruspandemic, some New Jerseyans have been able to work at home. But as vaccination efforts begin in the state, officials say we’re probably only a few months away from widespread vaccine availability. That could be a game-changer for employees who have spent months away from the office. It also raises a lot of questions. Employers are required to keep their workplaces safe, but what happens if some workers don’t want to take a vaccine? Can your boss require it? What if you take the vaccine but your coworkers don’t? Do you have any rights?

EEOC Says an Employer Can Require Employees Be Vaccinated

AP Photo/Jessica Hill The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued a ruling this week that says employers can require workers to get the COVID vaccine and prevent them from working if they don’t. The agency said requiring the test would not violate the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1980 that bars employers from requiring medical exams that seek information about an employee’s physical or mental condition. As a matter of choice, some employees may not wish to be vaccinated, but the EEOC says an employer can prevent someone from working if they haven’t received the vaccination. According to the EEOC guidance:

Our Rulers Kindly Add More Impetus for Revolution Catch the double-speak with which these jokers justify their overreach and depotism: …officials with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said mandating vaccinations does not violate the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990, which prohibits employers from requiring medical examinations of employees, except under limited circumstances. “If a vaccine is administered to an employee by an employer for protection against contracting COVID-19, the employer is not seeking information about an individual’s impairments or current health status, and, therefore, it is not a medical examination,” EEOC officials said in the updated guidelines.

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission: Employers can legally require COVID-19 vaccine

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission: Employers can legally require COVID-19 vaccine News 12 Staff Updated on:Dec 19, 2020, 9:16pm EST As the COVID-19 vaccine continues to roll out, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says employers can legally require their employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Legal experts say there are exceptions to the federal guidelines, like if an employee that has a disability, they could request accommodations and be exempt from a mandatory vaccine. Other exemptions include those who refuse vaccinations based on religious beliefs. Even with COVID-19 deaths reaching more than 3,000 a day, for the first time in a month, some are still hesitant about the vaccine.
