Yakima Woman Says, Sticking Garlic Up Your Nose Is Dangerous

A few years ago, the internet was flooded with people taking the Ice Bucket Challenge to create awareness and raise money for a good cause in the fight against ALS (Lou Gehrig s Disease). Heck, even I got swept up in the trend. Since then, the viral challenges and trends seem to have continually devolved into more ridiculous acts such as eating Tide Pods. The latest, and just as bizarre, is the Garlic Nose Trend (#GarlicInNose) birthed on the Tik Tok social media platform. A concerned listener heard a DJ talking about the latest viral trend on social media and sent us an email warning of the dangers of shoving a clove up your snout.

Thrillistcame out with a list of the Weirdest Laws From Every State and if you don t know, Montana has some super weird laws from when Montana first became a state to even some recent doozies but I wanted to see what they chose. Thrillist ended up picking a pretty weird law that even you will be scratching your head. According to Thrillist, the weirdest law in Montana is that if you start performing on stage, you have to finish your performance. You can t leave the stage. Photo Catches Monmouth County Officer In Heartwarming Moment

I don t know about you, but I could really use a reason to feel good about people right now. The challenges of the last year and a half didn t always bring out the best in us.  Just when you re losing faith in people a moment like this gets caught on camera. A simple act of common decency and kindness by Monmouth County Sheriff s Officer, Thomas Menendez not only made me feel better about people, it made my heart smile. Officer Thomas Menendez was recently on patrol in Neptune when he saw an elderly woman struggling with her shopping bags on a hot day walking uphill.  Officer Menendez was worried about her being exhausted and pulled over so he could help her with her packages and safely walk her back to her nearby apartment.

Man Tries To Walk On Water From Florida to New York, Fails

You may have seen this bizarre looking contraption in the news. A man recently attempted to voyage from Florida all the way up the Atlantic to New York in a homemade vessel that somewhat resembles a hamster wheel crossed with a giant bubble. He didn t get far. What happened? Maybe more importantly; why the hell would anyone attempt such a feat? RTE says that the man is actually a marathon runner named Reza Baluchi, who was going to use this specially built Hydro bubble to essentially run on water. If you look at the pictures of this thing, you can see the giant bubble part sitting in the center of the vessel, while a line of floatation devices would keep it afloat during his long journey. But this wasn t even his first attempt at such a stunt, according to FOX 35. Officials say he tried in 2014 and 2016, and he failed both times. Some sources claim he was trying to reach Bermuda, but may have still attempted to make it to New York.
