Open Letter: Drivers Always Do This In Buffalo and It’s Very Frustrating
I ve lived in Buffalo my entire life in Buffalo and I love the people here and let s face it, we don t deal with the traffic that other cities do.
However, driving through Western New York can be very frustrating and something I ve always noticed since living here is just how often drivers do this when driving on the thruway and highways around Buffalo.
I drive down the 190 north and south almost every day, going to and from work. I usually drive all the way down the 190 south from downtown to the 90 split and every single time quite literally, every single time, there are drivers who try and cut over to the 90 westbound from the far left lane.
Life has been pretty crazy lately, mostly brought on by myself but now I need your assistance. So it all started when Savannah and I decided to sell our home and build a home here in East Texas. We are more than excited to get the keys to our new home which could be anytime between September and November. But of course we already sold our old home which means we will be staying in an Extended Stay type of place until our home is finished. We planned to be making dinner out of our Instant Pot and with the move my wife finally got the air fryer she has been wanting, but we need your help with recipes.

This new Grant and the MI Clean Water plan will hopefully improve the water infrastructure, as well as ensure that tap water is available to the state of Michigan.
“We must ensure communities across Michigan have the support they need protect our state’s unparalleled freshwater resources,” says Governor Whitmer. “As we celebrate Lake Appreciation Month, we are proud to announce grants under our MI Clean Water Plan that will help local communities invest in their aging water infrastructure and give every family in our state access to safe, clean tap water.”
Officials with the state hope that this new grant will help remove lead pipes from cities and also help fix the tainted water issue in homes and allow safe drinking water in communities.

For all the eye-rolls and raised eyebrows that a post like this will likely bring, as an Albany kid, these are the kinds of things I truly enjoy writing about. Sure, living in Albany means putting up with year-round fireworks and police sirens but it also offers a ton more. And when you take a look at Albany from 30,000 feet away, it s easy to see why the state capital was recently ranked so highly by the legit source. Sometimes as they say, you can t see the forest from the trees.
Be Honest… Do You Make Your Bed?
A few of us were conversing around the lunch table this week.
You know how you can start on one topic and end up on another? Somehow our discussion turned into whether or not we make our beds.
Two of my coworkers said always. One person said sometimes. A lot of us said never.
I looked online and found a survey by hunch.com that said of almost 70,000 people, 59 percent said they never make their bed. 27 percent said they do.
I usually climb out of bed before my wife, so if I was looking to give you a legitimate excuse it would be that I can t make the bed while my wife is in it. Truth be told, I would probably still not make it even if she weren t there. The only time I think we actually make the bed is when we change the linens. otherwise we just pull up the blankets so the cats don t fart on our pillows.
