On May 13, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that people who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 no longer have to wear a face mask or stay six feet away from others.
People who are fully vaccinated can now go to grocery stores, salons, restaurants, and many other places without wearing a face mask. The new guidelines apply to most places except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.
For those who haven t received their COVID-19 vaccine or have only received one dose, CDC recommends that you still wear masks in public settings, at events and gatherings, and anywhere you will be around other people.
