If you re anything like me, when you re talking about your favorite beach, it s always my beach. We take total possession of the beach we love. best ocean beach. We have a lot of lovely bay beaches, right now we re voting for ocean beaches.

FDA to Ban Menthol Cigarettes and Flavored Cigars
Why would the FDA do this?
Smoking is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States so plain and simple, they made this decision to reduce disease and to save lives. According to MLive, banning the products would lead an additional 923,000 smokers to quit, including 230,000 African Americans in the first 13 to 17 months after a ban goes into effect.

FDA Commissioner Dr. Janet Woodcock:
Banning menthol the last allowable flavor in cigarettes and banning all flavors in cigars will help save lives, particularly among those disproportionately affected by these deadly products. With these actions, the FDA will help significantly reduce youth initiation, increase the chances of smoking cessation among current smokers, and address health disparities experienced by communities of color, low-income populations, and LGBTQ+ individuals, all of whom are far more likely to use these tobacco products.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is letting Lake Vermillion anglers know that, beginning with the walleye opener on Saturday, May 15, they may be interviewed about their harvest.
According to the DNR, creel clerks from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will be traveling the lake by boat to conduct interviews with anglers. This is the lake s first creel survey since 2015.
During the interviews, the creel clerks will ask anglers a few questions about their fishing trip for that day and record information on the fish species caught. Creel clerks may ask to record measurements of fish that anglers keep. Additionally, DNR pilots and a local contractor will conduct aerial boat counts to obtain information on angling effort.
A Ginormous American Flag Now Flies High in Windham, Maine
If you ve driven on Route 302/Roosevelt Trail in Windham lately, you ve probably noticed something new flying high in the sky.
Camping World recently acquired the former Lee s Family Trailer Sales and Service at 480 Roosevelt Trail in Windham and one of the things that they added to the property was a super tall flag pole to raise a ginormous American flag on.

The flag can be seen as you approach Camping World from either direction, and if you re heading east, you ll get a nice view of it over the treetops as you head down the hill.
The ground has been broken on a new building for a new North Dakota non-profit organization.
On Wednesday (April 28), a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of the Dream Center Bismarck. The great thing about the Dream Center is that it is meant to serve anyone and everyone who needs help in the Bismarck-Mandan community. A release says that people can come for a free meal, free groceries, free services, and more.
The Dream Center will offer many help options and will be open for all members of the community.
The Dream Center facility will be a conglomeration of things for community members in need. The release states that the Dream Center will be the home of The Banquet - a free meal ministry, the Adopt-A-Block food distribution truck, a food pantry, chapel, multipurpose room, offices for partner agencies, and more! Construction on the Dream Center Bismarck will officially begin in May.
