Holiday food boxes gifted to more than 200 local families

During the drive-thru event, holiday food boxes were given out for free to more than 200 families.
Organizers say the event is to help families fighting food insecurity during this pandemic. During Covid, we re seeing so many people losing their jobs, having their hours cut, being furloughed, unemployed benefits being cut or reduced, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin of Milwaukee Scott Marshall said. It really need the community to be able to come together to be able to put food on the table for theses families.
