Groundbreaking ceremony for new building of fire and rescue unit held in Osh city AKIPRESS.COM - Groundbreaking ceremony for the new building of the fire and rescue unit was held in the city of Osh on May 20, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. Construction of a new building is implemented within the framework of an international project in cooperation with the Korean experts and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. 4 new buildings total will be built in Cholpon-Ata, Osh, Bishkek and Suzak of Jalal-Abad region. They will have latest fire fighting equipment. Training sessions to improve the skills and knowledge of firefighters and rescue service personnel are also planned.
