Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has imposed a ban on Zero Night Celebration across the state on New Year’s Eve as congregation of large number of people in public places have large potential for spread of COVID-19 infection.
As people in large number congregate in hotels, restaurants, clubs, parks and other public places on 31st December and 1st January for Zero Night Celebration on the eve of new year, the State Government has directed in public interest to prohibit such activities on 31st December, 2020 and 1st January, 2021.
