Ministry of Health of Nicaragua has authorized the use of Sputnik V Ministry of Health of Nicaragua has authorized the use of Sputnik V Moscow, February 3, 2021 – The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF, Russia’s sovereign wealth fund) announces the registration of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Nicaragua.   The vaccine was approved under the emergency use authorization procedure without additional clinical trials in the country. Thus Sputnik V is now registered in 6 countries of Latin America. Sputnik V had been approved earlier in Russia, Belarus, Argentina, Bolivia, Serbia, Algeria, Palestine, Venezuela, Paraguay, Turkmenistan, Hungary, UAE, Iran, Republic of Guinea, Tunisia, Armenia and Mexico.
