Suva residents expected the same this weekend and were out early to stock up.
Long lines were observed at all supermarkets in the capital.
Yesterday Dr Fong had announced 4 new COVID-19 cases.
One of four is a 47-year-old nurse at the Raiwaqa Health Centre.
