ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Wednesday was formally handed over 14 state-of-the-art indigenously developed JF-17B Thunder Block-II fighter jets with far more advance technology than Rafael jets and is capable of canceling the so-called supremacy of the Indian Air Force (IAF). On the other hand, Pakistan Navy Air Defence Units demonstrated their combat readiness through live weapon firing of Surface to Air Missiles (SAMs).
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, while addressing the handing over ceremony of the newly built JF-17B Thunder jets here at Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra, termed the inclusion of jets in national fleet as a significant milestone achieved in the history of the country. The Air Chief also formally launched the production of JF-17 Block-III.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) formally handed over 14 state-of-the-art indigenously developed fourth generation JF-17 Thunder Block-III dual carrier fighter jets equipped with a long-range superior radar system and advance firing capability to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) at a simple ceremony on Wednesday.
Terming the aircraft’s inclusion in the national fleet a ‘significant milestone’ in the country’s history, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said JF-17 Thunder was proved a battle-tested aircraft during the successful expression of mastery in Operation Swift Retort against Indian Air Force’s violation of territorial sovereignty on Feb 27, 2019.

ISLAMABAD: Indian Air Force’s Rafale jets will no longer be as lethal as it hoped them to be as the Pakistan Air Force announced on Wednesday the serial production of the 4.5-generation aircraft of the most advanced variant of JF-17 Thunder Block III.
The start of production was announced at a ceremony at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra where the PAF was also handed over the 14 state-of-the-art indigenously developed dual seater JF-17B Thunder Block-II fighter jets.

Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan told a ceremony at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) that the aircraft’s inclusion to the national fleet was a “significant” milestone, and hailed the JF-17 Thunder as a battle-tested aircraft. He specifically cited the aircraft’s use in Operation Swift Retort after the Indian Air Force violated Pakistan’s territorial integrity on Feb. 27, 2019.
