COVID-19: 38 New Cases, 4 Deaths Reported in Afghanistan
The Ministry of Public Health on Sunday reported 38 new positive cases of COVID-19 out of 1,648 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The ministry also reported four deaths and 70 recoveries from COVID-19 in the same period.
The new cases were reported in Kabul (5), Herat (7), Balkh (3), Nangarhar (9), Takhar (2), Baghlan (3), Kunduz (1), Badakhshan (1), Helmand (2), Laghman (3) and Kunar (2) provinces.
The deaths were reported in Kabul (1), Herat (1), Nimroz (1) and Khost (1) provinces.
The ministry says the cumulative total of known COVID-19 cases is 55,059, the total number of reported deaths is 2,400, and the total number of recoveries is 47,609.
So far, 50,602 samples have been tested in government centers and there are 4,976 known active COVID-19 cases in the country, data by the ministry indicates.
13 New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Afghanistan
The Ministry of Public Health on Friday reported 13 new positive cases of COVID-19 out of 840 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The ministry also reported 3 recoveries from COVID-19 in the same period.
The new cases were reported in Kabul (1), Kandahar (1), Balkh (4), Paktia (2), Nimroz (2), Maidan Wardak (1), Helmand (2) and Paktika (1) provinces.
The ministry says the cumulative total of known COVID-19 cases is 55,021, the total number of reported deaths is 2,400, and the total number of recoveries is 47,609.
So far, 248,954 samples have been tested in government centers and there are 5,012 known active COVID-19 cases in the country, data by the ministry indicates.
Afghanistan: 69 New Cases of COVID-19, 1 Death Reported
The Ministry of Public Health on Friday reported 69 new positive cases of COVID-19 out of 1,790 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The ministry also reported one death and 23 recoveries from COVID-19 in the same period.
The new cases were reported in Kabul (2), Herat (26), Kandahar (2), Balkh (2), Nangarhar (19), Paktia (1), Baghlan (1), Kunduz (1), Wardak (2), Badakhshan (1), Kapisa (1), Laghman (2), Khost (4), Uruzgan (2) and Sar-e-Pul (1) provinces.
The death was reported in Kabul province, according to data provided by the Ministry of Public Health.
The ministry says the cumulative total of known COVID-19 cases is 55,008, the total number of reported deaths is 2,400, and the total number of recoveries is 47,606.
48 New Cases of COVID-19, 1 Death Reported in Afghanistan
The Ministry of Public Health on Thursday reported 48 new positive cases of COVID-19 out of 1,896 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The Public Health Ministry also reported one death and 34 recoveries from COVID-19 in the same period.
The new cases were reported in Nangarhar (16), Helmand (6), Laghman (7), Kabul (2), Herat (3), Kandahar (3), Balkh (1), Baghlan (2), Parwan (1), Wardak (1), Badakhshan (1), Badghis (2) and Kunar (3) provinces.
Deaths were reported in Helmand province, according to data provided by the Ministry of Public Health.
The Health Ministry stated that the cumulative total of known COVID-19 cases is 54,939, the total number of reported deaths is 2,399, and the total number of recoveries is 47,583.
Afghanistan: 37 New Cases of COVID-19, 8 Deaths Reported
The Ministry of Public Health on Wednesday reported 37 new positive cases of COVID-19 out of 1,729 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The Public Health Ministry also reported eight deaths and 90 recoveries from COVID-19 in the same period.
The new cases were reported in Herat (12), Kabul (2), Kandahar (2), Nangarhar (3), Baghlan (2), Parwan (1), Nimruz (1), Wardak (4), Kunar (4), Faryab (3), Khost (2) and Paktika (1) provinces.
