Premier Su rules out rebuilding fourth nuclear power plant 04/01/2021 08:21 PM Fourth nuclear power plant (CNA file photo) Taipei, April 1 (CNA) Premier Su Tseng-chang (蘇貞昌) on Thursday categorically ruled out the possibility of rebuilding the mothballed Fourth Nuclear Power Plant, stressing that it cannot be and must not be rebuilt, despite an upcoming national referendum on the issue. Su was quoted by Executive Yuan spokesman Lo Ping-cheng (羅秉成) when talking to reporters following a weekly Cabinet meeting, at which the premier was briefed by Hsu Yung-hui (許永輝), head of the Nuclear Power Division under state-run Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), on the controversial facility in New Taipei s Gongliao District.
