Reservoir supplying water to Hsinchu Science Park reaches full capacity 07/04/2021 04:52 PM Photo courtesy of the Northern Region Water Resources Office Taipei, July 4 (CNA) Second Baoshan Reservoir, which supplies water to the Hsinchu Science Park, reached full capacity Sunday morning for the first time since June 22, 2020, according to the Water Resources Agency (WRA). Earlier this year, the water level was extremely low at Baoshan Reservoir and Second Baoshan Reservoir in Hsinchu, as no typhoons made landfall in Taiwan last year, bringing much less rain in the second half of the year. The situation was exacerbated by less spring rain than usual and the later than usual start of the plum rain season this year, the WRA said.
