Bosnia has signed an Agreement and paid an Advance for 1,232,000 doses of Vaccines December 30, 2020 11:15 AM by Y.Z Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed an agreement and paid an advance for 1,232,000 doses of vaccines, while the European Union will provide additional vaccines worth 70 million euros to the Western Balkans. BiH has ordered vaccines through the COVAX mechanism, which should cover the vaccination of 20 percent of the population, and the purchase of additional quantities of vaccines has been announced. In accordance with the relevant COVAX procedures, vaccines will be gradually delivered to countries, as they receive certificates/permits for use from the World Health Organization, the European Medicines Agency and the medicines agency of the particular country. In the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the procurement of vaccines is coordinated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
