This was said in a comment by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, published on the website of the ministry. We strongly condemn the attack on the airport in Aden, temporary capital of the Republic of Yemen, on December 30, which resulted in deaths of dozens of people. We express our condolences to the families of those killed and wish a speedy recovery to the injured, the statement reads. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry views this terrorist act as an attempt to assassinate members of the legitimate and internationally recognized government of Yemen. The attack is aimed at thwarting efforts, in particular within the framework of the Riyadh Agreement, to stabilize the security, political and humanitarian situation in Yemen, the spokesman said.
