Belarus, Pakistan discuss preparations for Prime Minister Imran Khan s visit to Minsk
MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador to Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa met with Rabia Shafiq, Director General (Europe-II) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, BelTA learned from the pres service of the Belarusian Embassy in Pakistan.
The parties discussed the topical issues on the bilateral agenda, including the 6th session of the Belarus-Pakistan joint commission on trade and economic cooperation, meetings of the bilateral working groups and the fifth round of ministerial consultations. These events are an important part of the preparations for Prime Minister Imran Khan s visit to Minsk following the invitation extended by the Belarusian head of state.

MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa met with Muhammad Tariq, Additional Secretary (Europe) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Pakistan.
The parties exchanged information on the current agenda of Belarus-Pakistan cooperation in politics, trade, economy, culture, and humanitarian affairs. Special attention was given to ways to intensify cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries, including holding another round of ministerial consultations.
Andrei Metelitsa and Muhammad Tariq also discussed preparations for the sixth meeting of the joint Belarus-Pakistan commission on trade and economic cooperation in Minsk in the spring of 2021.

On February 2, 2021 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Andrei Metelitsa, met with the Additional Secretary (Europe) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Muhammad Tariq.
The Sides exchanged information on the relevant issues of the Belarusian-Pakistani agenda in political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
A primary attention during the meeting was paid to the topic of enhancing interaction between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries, including the holding of the next round of inter-ministerial political consultations.
Interlocutors also discussed the status of preparation for the sixth Session of the Joint Belarusian-Pakistani Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in Minsk coming spring.
