Pfizer has cut July deliveries of its COVID-19 vaccine to Norway by 400,000 doses, delaying the Nordic country's vaccine rollout, the company and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) told Reuters on Thursday. The news was first reported by Norwegian daily VG, citing Pfizer's Norwegian arm, and Geir Bukholm, Director of Infection Prevention and Control at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.

NORWAY’S COMPLICATED AND EVER-CHANGING CORONA RULES were altered once again on Friday, resulting in a bit more relaxation of quarantine requirements upon entry. Those who are fully vaccinated or been infected with Covid-19 earlier can now leave quarantine after three days if they test negative to the virus. A few more countries were added to the list of those from which Norwegians can avoid otherwise mandatory hotel quarantine.
Justice Minister Monica Mæland admitted once again that Norway’s rules can cause great confusion and frustration, also among border patrol personnel. More than 100 police officers will thus be added to border control stations to reduce long lines and allow more time for daily briefings on rule changes.
Norway gets tougher on US’ spying
June 3, 2021
The Norwegian government toughened its stand against alleged US spying Thursday, calling in US Embassy officials in Oslo to explain themselves. The meeting at Norway’s Defense Ministry was the Norwegian way of expressing its displeasure with what otherwise is the country’s most important ally.
Prime Minister Erna Solberg has already stated that espionage against your own allies is “unacceptable.” At issue is whether Danish officials perhaps unwittingly helped US intelligence agents gain access several years ago to cables that run through Denmark, and thus gain access to top politicians’ communication in Norway, Sweden, Germany and France. Solberg called Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on Thursday to stress that it’s also “unnecessary to spy on your friends and allies.”
