Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank talks about National Education Policy, NEP 2020, and more at 7.30 pm today. He will be going live along with Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, President, ICCR Delhi, and Jo Johnson, Educationist, Former Universities Minister UK today. The Minister made the announcement on his official Twitter page. He wrote, “Presenting, National Education Policy 2020 - #NEPOutreach! A parliamentary panel on Tuesday suggested to the Education Ministry that a big question bank should be given to students of classes 10 and 12 in advance, out of which selected ones will come in the board exams, in a move aimed at mitigating their learning gap in wake of COVID-19, sources said.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that an announcement on the medical entrance exam date could be made in the next 10-15 days. Last year, the exam was held on September 13 after being postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 7,71,500 candidates had qualified for the exam, for which over 13.66 lakh appeared.Â

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank attended the convocation of Sanskriti University on online mode on January 9. The Minister also inaugurated ‘Centre for Krishna Consciousness’ in the university virtually. Rajat Sharma, Editor in Chief and Chairman, India TV, was the Guest of Honour at the event.
This was the second convocation ceremony of the University. The Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals were awarded to the various top rankers of the respective Diploma, Undergraduate and Post Graduate Programmes offered by the university.
