Two people who were wounded in Tuesday shooting have died

PeaceHealth Southwest officials report Liliya Zagariya was shot while serving as a concierge PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center officials have identified the caregiver killed in the Tuesday shooting at a nearby medical facility as 20-year-old Liliya Zagariya. Liliya Zagariya “Our healthcare community suffered a tragic and heartbreaking loss yesterday when one of our caregivers, Liliya Zagariya, was shot while serving as a concierge in the lobby of the 505 medical office building on our PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center campus,” read a statement from PeaceHealth Wednesday. “Our thoughts, support and prayers go out to her family. All of us grieve with them.” Zagariya was one of two people who were shot Tuesday afternoon at a the medical facility in Vancouver. Both died of their wounds.

Troopers were dispatched at 7:07 p.m. Thursday to the crash just south of I-5 Exit 14, according to a WSP news release. Trooper Will Finn said in an email that 51-year-old John L. Worcester was northbound on the freeway driving a 2000 Ford Expedition. His parents, Patricia and Paul Worcester, 79 and 87, respectively, and their friend Garron Slocum, 49, were passengers.
