A neo-Nazi student was rebuffed by his academic father for emailing him about a prominent British fascist, a court has heard.
Andrew Dymock, 23, is on trial accused of a string of terrorism offences relating to the alleged promotion of the extreme right-wing group System Resistance Network (SRN) before it was banned.

Jurors in the trial of a suspected neo-Nazi student have today seen a picture allegedly showing the defendant performing a Hitler salute .
The photograph allegedly shows Andrew Dymock, 23, performing the Nazi salute in a picture in front of a flag of banned extremist group System Resistance Network (SRN).
A court heard a t-shirt similar to the one worn by one of the figures in the photograph was found in Dymock s bedroom during a raid by counter-terror police.
Dymock, from Bath, Somerset, allegedly promoted the extremist right-wing group through a Twitter account and a website before it was banned.

On Tuesday, jurors were shown email exchanges between Dymock and his parents Stella and Dr David Dymock who he lived with in Bath, Somerset.
On May 1 2017, he sent them an email with the subject “Watch this”.
It contained a link to a YouTube video entitled Oswald Mosley Documentary – Multiculturalism, which has since been removed.

An alleged neo-Nazi student sent material about the fascist leader Oswald Mosley to his parents, a court heard.
Andrew Dymock, 23, from Bath, is on trial at the Old Bailey charged with 15 terrorism and public order offences.
The court heard his father, an academic, had requested he did not send political stuff to his work email for fear of his colleagues thinking he sympathised with fascist views .
The defendant denies all the charges.
The court was told Mr Dymock emailed his parents in May 2017 with a video called Oswald Mosley Documentary - Multiculturalism .

A British man accused of calling for the extermination of gay people claims that he himself is gay or bisexual.
Andrew Dymock, 23, of Bath, is on trial in London, facing 15 charges related to inciting terrorism and interfering with public order, the BBC reports. Dymock says he is not guilty.
Among other things, prosecutors say Dymock was a member of the neo-Nazi groups System Resistance Network and Sonnenkrieg Division, both now banned. Some of the articles published on the System Resistance Network’s website were part of “an agenda against the LGBT community,” prosecutor Jocelyn Ledward said in court recently.
