Ambedkar University Fines Student for Voicing Bias against SC/STs, Fee Hike during Convocation
The university accused the student of distasteful remarks and termed them disrespectful towards CM Kejriwal and his deputy Sisodia. The student claims she was singled out as others also protested.

New Delhi: A student of Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD), who is also the state vice-president of All India Studentsâ Association (AISA), has been fined Rs 5,000 for participating in an âonline protestâ by students against the universityâs various policies during the online convocation in December 2020. The university accused the student of âslur/distasteful remarksâ and termed them âdisrespectfulâ towards chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, who were also participating in the event.
