As we venture into this new decade, embracing an awards season that will play out digitally and IRL, we decided to bring together a larger jury of professionals from around the world to select the finalists and winners. Canadian Parliamentary Precinct Block 2 Source:  Image by Tsaiproject An international contest has been launched to create a new £248 million (CAN$430 million) mixed-use office block for the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa [Deadline: 16 February 2021] The two-stage competition – backed by the Government of Canada and endorsed by the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada – will select a team to renovate and redevelop a large urban block located immediately opposite the Gothic Revival Canadian Parliament Buildings.
