The Chaplaincy team at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust has launched its Christmas Appeal 2020 to buy individual mini-radios for patients, in order to spread some joy at this time of year. Sarah, one of the chaplains said: ‘As a team our role is to support patients, their families and our staff colleagues, and we are always thinking of creative ways we can do this. Especially at the moment we are conscious that patients are missing having visitors, and the day can be long, so a gift of an individual radio with headphones will make a difference to their day we hope.’
