Met Office weather forecasters have predicted a snowy weekend for much of the UK thanks to a new weather system sweeping our way. Snow is currently hammering Scotland and other areas in the north will move down the country over the coming days. Danish authorities have named the incoming storm Darcy, with forecasts suggesting the system will shift snow into the south of England from mainland Europe by Sunday.

Dutch weather has recently seen temperatures experience a noticeable drop, and heading into the weekend, Saturday will start off very cold and quite dry. But, as the day progresses, the wind will pick up and it will likely start to rain - but this rain should quickly turn to sleet and ultimately to snow.
