Berejiklian has once again stressed that people should not leave home and mingle with other households. This remains a challenging aspect of the latest outbreak that has prompted a lockdown that has so far lasted a month.
She said it was important for people not to mingle. Can I stress again, it is really important for people not to leave home unless they absolutely have to? And, in particular, do not mingle.

A woman in her 30s who died of coronavirus in Sydney over the weekend has been identified as a 38-year-old Brazilian national with no pre-existing medical conditions.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced the death on Sunday and extended her condolences to the woman s family. I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to those families, the loved ones who are grieving today, she said.
NSW s deputy chief health officer Jeremy McAnulty said the woman was in her late 30s and was from central Sydney.
She caught the virus just 10 days ago. Fernanda Ferreira Batista, identifying herself as a friend of Takara, wrote on Facebook Takara was a “woman with dreams and wishes”.

Adriana Midori Takara, 38, died in a Sydney hospital 10 days after contracting coronavirus. “Since Covid-19 started all we hear is about numbers. Numbers of cases, numbers of infections, numbers of vaccines, numbers of deaths,” Batista said in the online tribute posted on Sunday. “Well, Adriana is not a number. An amazing friend, not only my friend but friend of so many people.” Her friends and family had to say their final goodbyes over Zoom.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the younger woman s death was a warning. If anybody think this is a disease just affecting older people, please think again.
Adriana was one of two Sydney fatalities over the weekend - the other was a woman in her 70s. A teenager and seven people aged in their 20s are among the 43 critically ill patients being treated in ICU.
