Stuff that Chris Budgen appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on December 2 where he consented to his extradition to New Zealand. According to
The Mirror, Budgen has agreed to face trial over the alleged rape in Rotorua in 1991, when he was 18.

Kiwi-born rugby player Chris Budgen may be extradited to New Zealand from the United Kingdom to face trial over a rape allegation from 1991.
UK s Home Office, which oversees immigration, security and law and order, confirmed to the Herald that Budgen appeared at the Westminster Magistrates Court on December 2, where he consented to his extradition to New Zealand. The District Judge therefore sent the case to the Home Secretary to decide whether to order extradition, a spokeswoman from the department told the Herald.
