FGEHA issues final notice to G-14/1 occupants Housing authority has ordered them to get their dues and vacate the land DNA February 04, 2021 ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has issued notices to the affectees and owners of land and houses in Sectors G-14/1, G-14/2, G-14/3, and Jhangi Syedan to get in touch with the authorities concerned and receive compensation. The housing authority has ordered them to get their dues and vacate the land, a spokesperson shared on Wednesday. He added that all the residents and affectees of the sub-sectors, whose houses are legally built, were asked to submit relevant documents at the FGEHA district commissioner’s office till February 1.

National January 15, 2021 ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Employees Housing Housing Authority (FGEHA) has fetched Rs2.06 billion from auction of commercial area of EHFPRO, multi-storey residential project in Sector G-13 of the federal Capital. After successful auction of Mauve area and Class 3 shopping centres of G-13 and G-14, FGEHA Director General Waseem Hayat Bajwa decided to go for open auction of commercial area of EHFPRO, a joint venture project of FGEHA and Progressive Motels and Resorts. The four-day auction process which ended Thursday and revenue generated from it would ensure timely completion of the project which is in progress since 2016. The Authority okayed highest bids for commercial area to the tune of Rs2.06 billion. It is one of the biggest projects of FGEHA, consisting of 3240 apartments of different sizes. NA Body Asks Finance Division to Spend Relevant Funds on Federal Government Accommodations The National Assembly Standing Committee on Housing and Works recommended the utilization of a 5 percent repair and maintenance allowance on Federal Government-owned accommodations to prevent their further deterioration. This allowance is deducted at source from the salaries of Federal Government employees for this very purpose. The decision was taken in the 12th meeting of the Standing Committee on Housing and Works, which was held under the Chairmanship of Engineer Muhammad Najeeb Haroon. During the discussion, the Committee was informed by the Ministry of Housing and Works that a 5 percent repair and maintenance allowance, deducted at source from the salaries of Federal Government employees was being collected by the Finance Division to the Ministry of Housing and Works on account of salaries of work charge employees of the Pak PWD, thus leading to non-repair or maintenance of the Federal
