Thinkerbell has been shortlisted for 10 awards across nine categories for this year’s Mumbrella CommsCon Awards.
The nods included Best Use of Owned Media, Launch or Relaunch Campaign of the Year, Best Use of Technology in a Campaign, Large PR Agency of the Year, and two nominations for Best PR-led Brand Partnership Campaign.
Also starring in the shortlist was Eleven, earning four nominations including PR-led Content Creation, Best PR-led Brand Partnership Campaign, and PR Agency of the Year – Large, a category it won in 2020. Icon Agency also scored four nominations, earning two in the Best Government Sponsored Campaign category, as well as a nod for Sophia Pellatt as PR Professional of the Year. Also receiving four nominations was We Are Different, including Best B2C Campaign, Best Campaign with a Small Budget and PR Agency of the Year (Boutique).

Flynn a decision that could spark another Queensland by-election.
Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese will announce Cr Burnett as Labor s candidate for the seat today in a trip to the city.
Cr Burnett – who is also a Local Government Association of Queensland board member has been an open Labor member and was last year slated to contest the Flynn seat.
Mr Albanese said Cr Burnett s pre-selection marked the start of Labor s push for comeback in Queensland where it holds just six seats out of 30.

A SACKED Ipswich councillor says he backs calls by the head of the Local Government Association of Queensland for an independent inquiry into the state’s corruption watchdog after charges were dropped against dismissed Logan councillors this week.
Fraud charges against eight former Logan councillors were dropped two years after they were first charged and then subsequently dismissed by then-local government minister Stirling Hinchliffe.
The Director of Public Prosecutions decided on Thursday not to continue with the prosecution of the councillors. LGAQ CEO Greg Hallam.
Former Mayor Luke Smith still faces other criminal offences resulting from a Crime and Corruption Commission probe with these matters still before the court.

Fraud charges against eight former Logan City councillors have been dropped – almost two years after their arrests triggered the entire council s sacking.
