The past week again saw some days with slightly higher numbers of new COVID-19 cases and deaths reported across Arizona, although the levels still remain relatively low.
On Thursday, the state reported 472 new COVID-19 cases and three new known deaths as hospitalizations for the disease continued along an overall plateau. There were 527 patients hospitalized across Arizona for known or suspected COVID-19 as of Wednesday.
Previous days this week saw the following new case reports: 475 on June 26, 436 on June 27, 413 on June 28, 546 on June 29 and 769 on June 30.
Death reports for the past week were: 11 on June 26, zero on June 27, zero on June 28, 17 on June 29 and six on June 30.
